At the North Sydney studio, Director Farah Shah and her teachers gave up their time and expertise, holding special dance classes for the Sydney community, with all money going to the appeal.

Students grooved to the styles of Bollywood and Latin Jazz, knowing that every cent they had paid was going to those who had been affected by the Victorian disaster.

Mango Dance Studio offers up to 90 dance classes per week across a range of genres, including classical ballet, contemporary, lyrical jazz, commercial jazz, broadway jazz, funk, hip hop, popping and locking, bollywood, Indian classical, latin cardio and more, in a caring, enthusiastic and positive environment with Sydney’s leading teachers and choreographers.

GDC is an intensive Jazz based workshop, designed to challenge dancing abilities and leave participants with a memorable sensation, and features LA’s most sought after dancers and choreographers.  The three-day dance workshop covering Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced levels as well as specialised Teacher classes, will be held at Sydney Olympic Sports Centre on 11^th, 12^th and 13^th April.

Global Dance Convention comprises Jazz, Hip Hop, Progressions, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Salsa and Tap classes in a motivating and friendly environment.  Further encouragement is taken from the concluding hour of the workshop which includes student and faculty performances, comprehensive Q&A session with the teachers and participant awards presentation, making this ‘the complete dance experience’.

The 2009 faculty includes Barry Youngblood, Gregg Russell, Gustavo Vargas and Adam Parson who, collectively, have had their illustrious careers span film, stage, music videos, and choreographing in the US and internationally.

Furthermore, whilst in Australia, Adam Parson will be choreographing on Season 2 of  ‘So you think you can Dance’.

Hey guys!
I wanna give a shout out to everyone who voted for my piece at Short Sweet + Dance. Was such an amazing honour to receive the ‘People’s Choice’ Award for Choreography and Performance!

It feels amazing to be back on the set of So You Think You Can Dance for another season, choreographing to my signature style. The dancers have done Australia proud, and with such a passion for dance there will always be job opportunities coming their way…
