South Australian Children’s Ballet Company

The South Australian Children’s Ballet Company is in the midst of their annual theatre season - performing “Coppelia” (a fun version) choreographed for them by Paul Boyd, and “Circulation” (a contemporary piece) choreographed for them by Chris Hewitt. Also on the program is a guest artist - Adelaide’s ‘dancer from China’ - Yang Liu.

Yang attended the Beijing Dance Academy from the age of 10.  At 17 she was taken into the National Ballet of China, where she was soon dancing soloist and then principal roles. She moved to Adelaide in 2008.  She is doing two solos - “Flower Festival” and “Don Quixote”.  Really, really stunning!

The Company ballets are entertaining and anyone is welcome to bring children.
There are two shows tomorrow, Sat Oct 3rd - 2 pm and 7 pm, and it is at the Scott Theatre, Adelaide
