Planning your new studio year calendar? Looking for something to add some extra sparkle and excitement to this season of dance? Why not a masterclass or two with current Broadway stars?

Stage Door Access is offering studios exactly that, and with all the necessary arrangements taken care of. When a hit show is headed to your city, Stage Door Access can help you provide a thrilling supplemental masterclass experience with working professionals for your students.

Since launching eight months ago, Stage Door Access has already produced over 300 Broadway Masterclasses for studios all over North America. Studios and students are loving the experience and the opportunity to meet, learn from, ask questions of and be inspired by a current Broadway artist, opening their eyes to the exciting future possibilities on stage.

How does it work?

Stage Door Access has established relationships with cast members from every major Broadway touring production, giving you access to Broadway calibre, highly experienced artists direct from the show currently touring in your city. Studio owners can avoid the high costs of flying in guest faculty to share their industry knowledge for an affordable flat fee, and enhance their existing teaching programs with an exciting proposition. Studio owners can charge students whatever fee makes sense to them to cover the fee and/or make some profit for their business or fundraising activities.

Stage Door Access provides a full circle service. You can access customized designed marketing material (additional fee applies), have travel to and from your studio arranged for you, and have group tickets booked for your students to attend the show the very same day – so they can experience not only a masterclass but enjoy seeing the Broadway show together for an educational, inspiring and student bonding experience.

Stage Door Access does all the work, so as a studio owner, all you have to do is sit back (or jump in the class alongside your students!) and see the excitement and enthusiasm infuse your student base as they enjoy working with your special guest star, then see the work they’ve done in the studio translated by the professionals on stage.

“Broadway masterclasses on tour are a great way to provide supplemental masterclass experiences with working professionals that are hugely impactful on young dancers without breaking the bank,” says Stage Door Access Founder Ryan Saab. “The appetite for this type of programming to be back in the mix post-covid has been hugely needed, and studios are just loving it!”

Stage Door Access offers tailored 1.5-hour masterclasses where artists teach choreography in the style of the selected show. Classes are suited to your students’ ages, levels, abilities and interests. By working with someone who is actively performing the choreography every day, you can elevate your students’ skills with detailed insights into style, technique, characterization and what’s required to wow the audience night after night.

If your studio is looking for a more customized, in-studio workshop or intensive, Stage Door Access also offers one, two and multi-day in-studio workshops and intensives, opening it up to a broader spectrum of faculty. What’s more, the company can help you access not only dancers in the Broadway world but every other imaginable genre you can think of, with a roster of 100 faculty members to choose from.

With such an incredible offering to your students, you’re sure to be the envy of your competitors and boost your reputation and retention at the same time.
