MODE Market, to be held January 23-26, 2025, at The Westin Peachtree Plaza in Atlanta, GA, will provide retailers and their shop assistants with seminars, demos and hands-on workshops designed to send them home with the latest industry information. With all that is offered during the event’s three jam-packed days, MODE is sure to be an exciting and rewarding source of inspiration and resources.

“The dance retail industry has been craving a dedicated space where manufacturers and retailers can connect, learn and grow together,” says Helena Hines, COO of Só Dança USA and Board Member of MODE Market. “This event was created to fill that gap — a space where dance retailers can gain tools, insights and inspiration to thrive in an ever-evolving market. It’s about creating a community and sharing the knowledge that will shape the future of the industry.”

Attendees will receive all meals; seminars such as “3 Steps to Maximize Profit and Reduce Overwhelm,” “Pointe Shoes Readiness,” “Expert Strategies for Thriving in Today’s Market” and more; opportunities to network with brand leadership, other retail owners and industry professionals; a dancewear fashion show; a cocktail party; and the chance to venture into the city of Atlanta with unique sightseeing highlights.

“MODE Market is designed to empower dance retailers and their teams,” Hines says. “From educational sessions and keynote speeches to hands-on panels and brand seminars, every moment is crafted to equip attendees with practical skills and strategies. Retailers and shop assistants will leave with actionable knowledge on merchandising, sales techniques, cash flow management and more. Most importantly, they’ll gain the confidence and resources to drive growth in their businesses and strengthen their connection to the dance community.”

The idea that retailers can be treated to all of these resources by not just one leading brand but by over 35 brands is unique to MODE Market, and is an unparalleled opportunity. It will allow retailers and shop assistants to explore the latest trends, discover innovative products for 2025 and gain exclusive insights from the people behind the brands. Retailers can fully immerse themselves in the industry, build partnerships and return to their stores afterward with fresh ideas on how to better serve their customers.

On what Hines is most looking forward to at MODE Market, she says, “I’m most excited about the energy and collaboration that will come from bringing the industry together. Seeing retailers and brands exchanging ideas, learning from each other and forming meaningful connections is what makes this event special. And, of course, the nightly entertainment — culminating in the ‘pink party’ — will be a fantastic way to celebrate this incredible community.”
